Intermediate storage systems
A temporary intermediate storage system ensures efficient and orderly storage while optimising area occupation.
Various kinds of temporary storage systems are available:
- Rotary “Carousel” served by loading and unloading machines
- Fixed pin storage for loading of single bobbins
- Automated warehouse for rack storage
- Automated warehouse for cart storage
These utilise multi-level shelving systems for storing different types of Load Units, each designed according to the specific requirements of the system.

RACKS
This is the system that, upon integration with overhead transport, allows speeding up the storage process in the automated warehouse of large quantities of product in an efficient manner while maximising the utilisation of the available areas.
The rack or frame, designed according to the load to be transported, is transferred from the overhead Shuttle vehicle to the Stacker Crane which then proceeds to transport and insert it into the assigned warehouse storage location, guaranteeing speed and efficiency of the entire process.

This solution allows storing classic ground carts in the assigned storage locations in the warehouse.
The system, consisting of Stacker Cranes, ground transfer cars equipped with loading and unloading devices, and suitable storage racking towers guarantees maximum operational flexibility and utilisation of the available areas.
