Industrial handling
Over the years, Salmoiraghi has designed and implemented various automated material handling systems for industry (in particular, for automotive plants manufacturing wheel hubs, chassis assemblies, mechanical components, fasteners). These applications are characterised by stringent requirements regarding quality assurance, high reliability and production capability, low maintenance, and work safety. The systems make extensive use of advanced high-tech solutions such as heavy-duty industrial robots, AGVs (Automatically Guided Vehicles), and numerous Salmoiraghi custom-designed machines.
Packing lines are an integral part of the Salmoiraghi Automated Handling systems.
