The company guarantees technical support throughout the system lifetime, as well as the supply of spare parts and, thanks to the application of new technologies, also remote assistance service.
Salmoiraghi systems are installed in continuous cycle production lines (24 hours a day) and each customer is apt to handle maintenance activities in real time. Remote assistance, especially with regard to software, has been used by the company for over 20 years. Basing the construction of machinery on highly solid criteria and supporting the customer with maintenance plans, we are able to have systems installed during the eighties and nineties still operational today.
Even during the Covid 19 pandemic that hit the entire international market due to the many travel restrictions, we were able with our remote assistance service, and thanks to our teams of local staff and resident technicians, to provide technical support directly from our headquarters in Monza, avoiding plant downtime for our customers.
We are constantly striving to make our systems ever more remotely controllable by using new Industry 4.0 technologies available today, such as computer vision (AI) for object recognition in images, Data Analytics for data analysis in real time, Internet of Things (IoT) for digitising objects, and augmented reality (Digital Twin) which makes it possible to create a more manipulative and interactive environment with the possibility to foresee anomalous behaviour, risks and errors.
